Dr. Kay Chi-yan Lam

Dr. Kay Chi-yan Lam has many years of experience in policy research and higher education. Previously, she served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Hong Kong Policy Research Institute and a Senior Research Fellow at the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR Government. She is currently the Research Director at a policy consulting firm and a Consultant at the Department of Public and International Affairs at City University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Lam graduated with first-class honors from the Department of Politics and Public Administration at the University of Hong Kong, and later obtained a Master of Philosophy and a Doctor of Philosophy from HKU, as well as a Master's degree in Visual Culture Studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an Executive Master's degree in Public Management from Tsinghua University.

Dr. Lam is passionate about public affairs and currently serves as the convenor of the Sub-committee of Family Support of the Family Council, a member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and Committee on Promotion of Breastfeeding. She is also active in the public commentary sphere, currently hosting public affairs programs on RTHK and writing a column for Ming Pao's opinion section.
