PPA Hosts Departmental Reception

The Department of Politics and Public Administration (PPA) hosted its Departmental Reception during the week of  January 19, 2026, wishing everyone a splendid start to the new year and the new semester.

Professor Robert Thomson, Head of the Department of Politics and Public Administration (PPA), acknowledged several recent individual awards: Professor Enze Han received The University of Hong Kong Research Output Prize 2024–25 for his book The Ripple Effect: China’s Complex Presence in Southeast Asia; Dr. Daniel Marwecki received the Social Sciences Outstanding Teaching Award 2025; and Dr. David Birks received the University’s Teaching Excellence Awards 2025.
