Huge congratulations to our distinguished HKU Government and Laws alumna, Ms. Bonnie Cheng, on her appointment as Senior Counsel!

With the recommendation of Professor Tsan Yin Peter Cheung, Bonnie went on to pursue her Master’s degrees at the University of Oxford and Harvard University after graduating from HKU.

Bonnie is one of six barristers selected by the Chief Justice for this highly prestigious designation this year, recognizing her outstanding expertise and accomplishments.

The ceremonial proceedings will take place at the Court of Final Appeal on May 16 at 10:00 am and will be broadcast live. Please join us in celebrating this remarkable milestone!
