The Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration

The Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration is a scholarly, double anonymised, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to promoting the study, research and enhancement of public governance, policy, administration and management in the Asia Pacific region and beyond. Over the decades, the journal has become a highly influential publication, widely recognised for its significant contributions to the field of public administration.

The journal provides a platform for academics, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange ideas and knowledge on public administration practices and challenges within the Asia Pacific context.

Its target audience consists of scholars, policymakers and managers, as well as those involved in education and research in the growing MPA (Master of Public Administration), DPA (Doctor of Public Administration) and PhD communities.

Since the March 2014 Issue, Routledge (Taylor and Francis) has become responsible for the publication of the Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration in partnership with the HKU Department of Politics and Public Administration (PPA Department). The PPA Department remains the owner and editorial home of the journal, ensuring its continued academic rigor and relevance.
