Miss Seren Tang, first class honours graduate of BSocSc(Gov't and Laws) 2005-06, was awarded the “Mr. Alan Leong SC’s Chamber Scholarships in Public Law”. The Scholarship sponsors the winner to attend an overseas summer course or summer school on human rights. It comprises subsidies for airfare, accommodation, registration and school fees, as well as living expenses.
Seren chose to attend the summer course "The European System of Human Rights Protection" held on 11 to 23 September 2006 at the Europa-Universitat Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany and Slubice (Poland).
